[NEWS] Dappy Ready To Change Face Of Rap

N-Dubz star Dappy believes his solo album will force rappers to change their style ands ing more on their own records

The N-Dubz rapper releases 'No Regrets' later this month and thinks he will surprise people with his "M-singing".

He said: "Lots of people who rap get people to sing on their hooks, but when I release my stuff they won't be able to do that anymore.

"They'll have to sing on the record by themselves. They can't get Chris Brown or whoever to do it for them. They have to sing and rap on the track themselves as that's what I'm doing. I'm M-singing not MCing."
Dappy also insisted his solo material won't sound like the music he is famous for as part of N-Dubz.
He told Top of the Pops magazine: "It's not happy R&B/hip-hop N-Dubz music that makes money though - what I'm doing is songs."

Dappy usually pens material with his bandmate Tulisa Contostavlos but says her work as a judge on UK TV show 'The X Factor' spurred him on to work on solo songs.

He said: "I didn't always plan to go solo, but because I write all the N-Dubz lyrics with Tulisa, I've always wondered what I could achieve if I was to sit down and write by myself."

[NEWS] Tinie Tempah Wants Chris Brown, Adele And Usher Collaborations For New Album

Tinie Tempah has said he hopes to work with Adele, Usher and Chris Brown on his second album.
The 22-year-old rapper told US magazine Rolling Stone he had been in touch with Adele about teaming up for a track.

He also revealed he was working with Neptunes' producer Pharrell Williams and that a string of UK stars like Giggs, Skepta, and Wretch 32 would feature on the LP.
He said he hoped the record would be out before the end of 2011.

Speaking at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, he said he was hopeful the Adele collaboration could happen.

'Interactive album'

"I've spoken with her. She's a very good friend of mine, so it's definitely something that we're talking about.
"I just hope we can make it happen, it'd be amazing. I want to do something kind of happy with her, something that is not like what people would necessarily expect.
"I think she has an amazing voice and I'd love to see her use it in all different sorts of ways. So that's what we're going to try and do if we can make it happen."

He also said he hoped to work with Chipmunk and US rapper Big Sean.
"I'm trying to get everything wrapped up by the end of the year slowly but surely," he said.
"I kind of want people to hear it as it happens, but let me not give that away. That's a pretty genius idea.
"I really want to make it a very interactive album so you guys are going to see a lot sooner than you expect."
